    Hi,
My question is options spread trading allowed in an IRA (butterfly, calendars, etc) and which broker do most people recommend with lowest per option commission?
I'm sure this is probably answered somewhere on this site but it's late on the eastcoast and feeling lazy :)
    Thanks!

    My 2 cents:
Spreads: ThinkOrSwim allows all kinds of spreads and cash covered puts in IRA. No naked calls, since they carry unlimited risk. I believe they even allow futures is IRA.
Commissions: OptionsHouse (former TradeMonster) charges $1.05/leg for SPX , $0.53/leg for other symbols, no minimum -- in accounts over $25K. No idea what their IRA policies are.
SheridanOM members pay $1/leg commissions at ThinkOrSwim.
